Gippsland climate change adaptation study
Gippsland climate change adaptation study
The Warragul think tank, Gippsland climate change and adaptation study was held on 9 August 2011. It attracted 70 participants from a range of organisations to discuss how the state government and higher education sectors can facilitate a better understanding of the climate challenges facing the Gippsland region.
The think-tank was co-sponsored by VCCCAR, the Gippsland Local Government Network, Gippsland Climate Change Network, University of Melbourne and Department of Primary Industries Victoria.
Imminent structural and rapid climate change demands action to ensure a vibrant region.
We want to unearth the potential for synergy by ensuring realistic, reliable knowledge is readily available for all stakeholders in the system.
We can help you remove the barriers that stand in the way of communities and businesses getting on with the job of transformational adaptation.
Come together with the Gippsland Local Government Network and the University of Melbourne on the path to sustainability.
