Successful applicants will be involved in policy-relevant research on climate change mitigation and will become members of PIK’s Research Domain Sustainable Solutions. The Research Domain is chaired by Professor Ottmar Edenhofer, who currently also serves as co-chair of the IPCC’s Working Group III on Climate Change Mitigation.

PIK is an internationally renowned research centre in the areas of climate change, climate policy and climate economics, and provides excellent support for developing a career in these areas.
